Great prices, great food, great staff!! This place has everything you need and more. It reminds me of an old school buffalo bar in all the good ways. Family friendly and something for everyone even picky kids. The findley fire balls are addictive. They make you feel like your part of the family that is French Creek.

You can’t put into words how to explain this unique throw back tavern that has managed to keep its original charm through the years. Again you have to experience it in person to really understand this special little bar a stones throw ( with a giant sling shot) from I 86 in French Creek NY

Good food, friendly people

We all ordered something different, and it was all good! Took a while because of the take outs, but our waitress Bridgette was awesome 😊! Beer was nice and cold, yum!

2nd visit. We chose the same fish fry and it was better than our first time. The wife had hers broiled and had butter for dipping. Awesome. Waffle fries or natural. At least 5 beers on tap great for a country tavern 20 miles from a city.

Great service and food! Friendly, casual atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday night for dinner with young teens. Customers in the restaurant were great with the kids being there. We will definitely go back!

Great wings and fries pickles

Wings normally quite good, but this time not so much. Beef on Weck was great. Good service.

Wings are a little pricey,and it's very noisy so its not the place to take children,or go for a relaxing family dinner. However the food is pretty good I recommend getting it to go

Extra-hot wings were outstanding, good pizza, so happy they put fried cauliflower back on the menu. Who eats cauliflower unless it's breaded and fried? Service there is always great, very friendly staff. Southern tier on tap is another bonus. Left there with a good case of the meat-sweats.

Very rarely have I been disappointed. Greatest honey mustard wings.

Nice local bar/restaurant with many food choices on the menu. Wings were very tasty but they came out Luke warm. None of the food was very hot out of the 3 meals that were ordered as though it had been sitting for a while before it was brought out. Place was extremely busy due to Peak and Peak fall fest so I am only knocking off 1 star for the slowish service and food quality.

We were on a road trip and asked a local about a place to eat, this was their recommendation. Phenomenal wings with their own sauces, cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and helpful in this tavern. This will be a 3 hour drive that we will take when we want wings again!

Nest wings & my favorite is the tavern burger! Hand cut fries! Great place for simple, real food!

Lovely view of the historic French Creek liquor store. Awesome food. Great place for fun.

Don't let the exterior put you off. The food is fantastic and the wait staff are incredible. So excited to have found a vegan dish on the menu. We were a party of 4 when we visited and each of us raved about the food and the service. The decor says "I'm an old bar" but the food and hospitality say "we are glad you're here and we want you to experience or best". Great find in the wilds around Peek & Peak Resort.

Over the top customer service! It was very busy when we went so we had a short wait. The food was delicious! Was able to play the Jukebox in pool!

You just can't go wrong with the FCT, great wings and Cold beer, along with great customer service.

We hadn't been there since last summer. We wanted a nice ride so put the French Creek Tavern into our GPS. Excellent ride and EXCELLENT LUNCH!!! Their chicken wings and hamburgers are AWESOME!!! Well worth the ride down!!!!!

Great bar food and very nice atmosphere.

We went to Peek and Peak and there wasn't a whole lot to choose from to eat in the area. The General Manager of Peek and Peak told us about French Creek Tavern. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was awesome and the food was good with hearty portions. Don't be afraid to bring the kids, as they are family friendly. A fun, relaxing atmosphere.

I will never say anything negative about this tavern. Amazing food, amazing bartenders, great DJ's and fun dancing. Parking lot can be icy however so walk with caution
